From the splendid region of Rioja in Spain, the Burgo Viejo Crianza 2016, made from 100% Tempranillo, exposes delicious aromas of sour cherry, dried blueberry, dried roses, wet gravel, chocolate and cedar. Medium body, with well integrated tannins and acidity, the wine’s journey ends with a round and fruity finish. Palate: cherry, sugarplum, black pepper, dill, tobacco and cedar. Enjoy!

Burgo Viejo Crianza 2016, Rioja D.O.C.A., Spain: An excellent value and robust Rioja Viejo Crianza under $20. A full-bodied 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano red wine blend rich with black cherry, plum, blackberry, vanilla, dark chocolate and oak spice flavours on the palate.
