Ruby red, lip smacking tartness, medium tannins, dry, medium acidity. Medium persistence with finish of blackberry, red currants with black tea. Pair with gourmet burgers, meatloaf, or shaved roast beef sliders. Tasted 2016 vintage in November 2018. 87 points

From the Maipo Valley of Chile, Casillero del Diablo Reserva Privada Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 shows aromas of dark skin plum, cherry, jasmine, fennel, mint, black tea, pepper, chocolate milk and oak. Balanced, with a full body and a long finish, this Chilean wine from Concha y Toro Winery shows great quality wine year after year. In the mouth, ripe plum, dark cherry, fern, tobacco, caramel, pepper and oak. Pair with red meat. Enjoy.
