Blend of local SW France varietal Negrette with Cab Sauv, Cab Franc and Gamay.
Salmon colour with medium intensity.
Aromas of strawberries, red grapefruit, fresh green leaves, white flowers. On the palate, balanced acidity if not overly crisp - a nice patio wine. Taste follows the nose with lots of red fruits, slight herbal note, medium weight.
This was a top pick for me for value roses.
Tasted (repeatedly) Summer 2018.

Beautiful bouquet of strawberries and this wine is dry on the palette with flavours of strawberry, rhubarb and a hint of spice. Great value rosé!
Pair with BBQed chicken or smoked salmon.

Not your typical pale pink Rosé! Light orange/salmon in colour with aromas that reminded me of the tiny ripe strawberries you pick in the wild. This is a blend of Négrette, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay and Cabernet Franc so there is some underlying weight to it. Nice acidity but a bit bitter in the finish. I believe this would be a versatile wine to pair with food - a salad with strawberries and feta or roast chicken would work well. Tasted August 9, 2018.

A great and affordable option for warm summer evenings. Aromas of field strawberry, melon, a hint of grapefruit and some lemon pith. Blended from Negrette and Gamay, this wine shows bright acidity and nice berry flavours with a hint of lemon-lime on the palate. Pair with salmon or other seafood.

This is not only a tasty rosé at a good pricepoint, but one from an interesting region.
This is a wine from Fronton, where the wines generally tend to revolve around Negrette; a dark skinned varietal introduced by ancient Greek viticulture. It is related to the Mavro varietal family and it tastes similar. Lots of dark prilune and blueberry are pretty cpmmon remarks on it.
When made into a rosé, in this case with Gamay to maintain fresh acidity, it brings deep colour and soft fruit.
Pleasantly soft acidity, a deep burnished pink.
Flavours of squashed cherry, red plum, currant, raspberry, and green herbs.
This is a great one to stock up with for summer sipping, at the cottage.
Pair this with crab legs and old bay.

Pale pink with slight ruby hue. Dry and mouthwatering acidity. Blood orange, red currant, hint of almost ripe cantaloupe and white peppercorn. Paired well with baked salmon and orange-zest Jasmine rice. Tasted 2017 vintage in May 2018. 90 points

Château Bellevue La Forêt Rosé 2017, Fronton, Southwest A.C., France: An terrific rose from Fronton in the south of France. it's made from lesser-known wine grapes, mostly Negrette, with some Gamay. Love the salmon-clementine hue in the glass. Aromas of small strawberries, raspberry and citrus spice. Mouth-watering and juicy. Amazing price for this quality. Pair with planked salmon or roast chicken. Drink: 2018-2020. 219840 12.50% XD 750 mL $14.95 Score: 92/100. September 27, 2018 Best Value Rosé Wine. Fantastic Fried Chicken Wine Full Review
