A gorgeous Cali Chardonnay from the famous Russian River Valley. Butterscotch, ripe apple, raw almond, toasted brown bread on the palate. Pairs well with roast turkey dinner. Tasted 2015 vintage in March 2018. 91 points
Monique Sosa reviewed this wine as follows:

Beautiful, elegant and scrumptious. This cool climate Russian River Valley, Sonoma County chardonnay is calling for succulent crab legs. Aromas and flavours show alluring stonefruit, apple, caramelized pineapple, citrus blossom and faint spice notes. The palate boasts effortless finess. Its acidity, length and creamy texture integrate so well. This is a fantastic Chardonnay! Please enjoy with butter drenched crab or lobster meat. Tasted March 2018 by @sommsosa
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lots of pear and golden apple on the nose of this lovely Russian River Valley Chardonnay. Smooth and full bodied, with some warm buttery notes, balanced with bright citrus on the palate. Finish is medium +. Pair with scallops or lobster.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Baked apples, pears, peaches and toasted almonds with a hint of cheese rind on the nose. Flavours are very full - fully ripe tree fruits, banana and pineapple cake. Touches of stony minerals also showing. Medium plus acidity, body and finish with some white pepper heat at the end. Pair with grilled cheese sandwiches. 89 points. - tasted March 2018

Natalie's Review

Folie à Deux Chardonnay 2015, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California, United States: Full-bodied and luscious Californian Chardonnay with attractive aromas of toasted almond, butterscotch and golden apple. Pair with roasted chicken or turkey. Folie a Deux translates to a passion shared by two. The Chardonnay grapes are sourced from Sonoma's coveted Russian River Valley where the Pacific Ocean fog moderates vineyard temperatures.
