Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A value-driven wine built around Chenin Blanc, from Paarl, South Africa. Viognier, Semillon, Roussanne, and Muscat Blanc a Petit Grains. Considering the litany of aromatic varietals, it is interesting and easy drinking.
Pretty hay-yellow colour.
Somewhat pronounced aromatics of lanolin, honey, smoke, stone fruit (peach and nectarine), blanched almond, and green apple.
The flavours are a great mix of fresh fruit and exotic spice. Pineapple, peach, pear, and apple. There are some baking spice and honey nuances. Dry and with a snappy acidity.
Something else to note, is that if you are looking for organic and biodynamic status in a winery, this is a great choice. Sometimes those labelings come woth a certain proce-bump, but this one happily remains >$20. Great value. Don't cellar too long. Max, 5 years. Put it alongside Jerusalem salad, or roasted daikons.

Natalie's Review

Avondale Jonty's Ducks Pekin 2015, Paarl W.O., South Africa: From South Africa, Avondale's Jonty's Ducks (2015) is a white blend of mostly Chenin Blanc with smaller amounts of Roussanne, Viognier, Semillon and Muscat de Frontignan grapes. Jonty's Ducks guard the winery's old vines, patrolling over the vineyards keeping snails under control. The winery is certified organic and biodynamic. A come-alive white wine in the glass with zesty notes of lime and grapefruit. Ultra-refreshing with racy acidity on the palate for field greens and spinach quiche. Drink: 2018-2022. 439554 13.50% XD 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 90/100. March 1, 2018 Best Value White Wine. Profound Pasta and Cream Sauce Wine  Full Review
