Blackberry, mint, tobacco, and dried herbs on the full-bodied palate of this rich Australian Cabernet Sauvignon - a blend of grapes from two well-known distinct areas - Clare Valley and Coonawarra. Most enjoyable, smooth and lingers with a dark chocolate, cassis finish.
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a good earthy wine. First, there are aromas of autumn leaves, truffle and underwood. Then, a swirl in the glass reveals aromas of blackberry, eucalyptus and mint.

Blackberry and truffle notes follow through on the palate. This is a full bodied wine with fresh acidity and well structured tannins. Overall, this wine is nicely harmonized.

Heather Wall rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Warming alcohol + gobs of fresh fruit + high acidity + evident tannins = tons of aging potential. Cab Sauv lovers will welcome the familiar graphite, black plum and cherry, bakers chocolate, blackcurrant leaf with lifts of menthol and eucalyptus. Good value and will reward in 5+ years. Crafted with Coonwara and Clare Valley grapes.

Jane Staples rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Dark garnet with inviting ripe cassis and raspberry aromas. Yummy raspberry and blackberry jam, cedar, dried herbs and mint on a very smooth, velvety palate with soft tannins and lingering finish. A great choice for a Cab lover.

Natalie's Review

Wakefield Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Clare Valley, Coonawarra, South Australia, Australia: Minty coolness on the nose of this gorgeous Australian red wine is flooded by fleshy blackberry richness on the palate. A hedonist's wine to fill the senses. Full-bodied and smooth Cabernet Sauvignon. Finishes with dried herbs, tobacco leaves and cedar brush. Very satisfying, especially at this price. Pair with ribeye steak. Drink: 2017-2022. 142398 14.50% XD 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 93/100. March 3, 2018 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review
