Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as
90/100 with the following review:
Pale salmon color. Soft strawberry, red berry, cherry fruit notes. A hint of sea water/minerality or perhaps iodine. The palate is a creamy texture with tenacious acidity which tastes of tart berries and cherries, saline and stings ever so slightly with a hint of white pepper finish. Excellent sipping wine to be enjoyed all on its own.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as
92/100 with the following review:
A wine for contemplation or conversation - there is much being said in the glass and much to be said about a glass. The vineyards from whence it came are UNESCO world heritage sites. Lemony, crisp, salty, floral, smokey, flinty, toasted hazelnuts abound, yet the wine is delicate and studious. Mesmerizing...I am transported...

The nose reveals underripe strawberry and lots of minerality. On the palate, it reveals why it's called Vulcanico. You can practically taste the volcanic minerality these grapes were grown in, supplemented by subtle lemon and underripe apricot. Serve chilled with appetizers.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as

Light rosé with faint aromas. Mild tasting with grassy, minerals with hints of cranberry and rhubarb. Versatile enough as an aperatif, citrus-based seafood or desserts that have tart red fruit flavours.

Pale salmon in colour with aromas of strawberries, peaches and melon with flavours of citrus and strawberry on the palate. This is a dry mouthwatering wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with seafood.
Greg Hughes rated this wine as
90/100 with the following review:
This juicy rosé has a lot to offer, though what is in it is a mystery. The declared varietal, according to their website, is 'old vines.' It's probably a few things, but mostly what they grow there is Arinto, Verdelho, and Terrantez.
It's a nice cheerful pink, with a watery rim.
Very aromatic. Chalk dust, lime and lemon zest, fresh cut flowers, raspberry, and cranberry.
The flavours have a ton more zesty citrus and red fruit. The minerality is pronounced.
Drink it now, but don't overchill it.
Pair it with zesty barbecue tiger shrimp.

A gorgeous balance of floral, fruit and minerality. Aromas and flavours of strawberry-rhubarb pie, followed by a combination of delicate rose petals and wet stone. Refreshing and crisp with an elegance on the finish. Tasted January 15, 2017.
Bill Wright Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:
The nose takes me back to a recent trip to Portugal. The wine reflects the country. Fresh strawberries and apricot on the palate.
Medium finish that actually cleanises your palette

A beautiful pale pink rosé from the Azores. Close your eyes and you can smell the salinity from the ocean. Light and fresh with flavours of fresh strawberries and watermelon. Nice balance of acidity and fruit with a medium finish that leaves you wanting more. This would be a great patio sipper. Tasted January 15, 2017.

Toasted almonds and apricots on the nose. This is a unique dry rose with stone fruit predominant on the palate. Delicious on its own or with grilled shrimp. A treat from Portugal!
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as
89/100 with the following review:
A wonderful wine in a bottle that looks like it should come from “Where in the world is Carmen Santiago”…
Presentation: Interesting, distinctive, fun, worldly. Will likely grab your attention, and for good reason
Appearance: Pale salmon
Nose: Light fragrance of canned peaches, nectarines, pears, cantaloupe
Taste: Dry, low tannins, medium acidity, light bodied, with floral, mineral, herbaceous, and cantaloupe notes
Finish: short floral finish
Overall impression: A nicely balanced, complex wine that would pair with almost anything you could throw at it. Also good to sip and contemplate on its own.
Value: 2.5/5

Salmon pink colour. Strawberry and rhubarb nose. Hints of a fresh ocean breeze. Light body with nice acidity and crisp. More red fruit and a hint of apple on the palate. A lively medium finish.
Try this with smoked trout or fruit tart.
