Great wine to keep on hand for everyday enjoyment. Food friendly, with notes of red cherry, leather, dark berries and vanilla. Medium-bodied with good balance between tannin and acidity. Pair with spicy sausage. Tasted June 01, 2017.

A nice Tempranillo for weeknight bbq's. Light smoke, leather and some cherry aromas. Soft tannins with pleasant flavours of cherry and plum. Moderate acidity with a medium finish. Fairly simplistic but a good value wine for the price. Tasted June 1, 2017

Yummy. Ruby red and great value. Accessible Spanish Tempranillo. 13.5% ABV declared. Balanced, integrating juicy red and black fruit with baking spice. Pair with red meats or charcuterie, brined olives. Tasted 2013 vintage June 2017. 89 points.
Tania Thomas rated this wine as
90/100 with the following review:
This fantastic red was first crafted by Juan Torres Casals more than a 100 years ago. Medium in body and smooth, it’s bursting with aromas and flavours of ripe berries and black plums. Fleshy and generous with fine, velvety tannins and well integrated oak. Hints of vanilla add complexity on the long, lingering finish. Fantastic with grilled meats, mature cheeses and even dark chocolate. Tasted March 2017. Tania Thomas – www.runawaygrape.com
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as
86/100 with the following review:
Briny and spicy, a great wine for tapas or meats and cheese. Warm spice, oak and pepper dominate over any fruit or berry aromas, but there is more fruit (tart cherry) coming through on the palate. Would also be great with pork sausages.

The Miguel Torres Coronas Tempranillo 2013 is an easy going wine that would pair well with charcuterie. Aromas and flavours of cherry, plum, and oak. Tasted October 2016 (89/100)
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as
85/100 with the following review:
Primary aromas of fruit are a bit fleeting so the secondary oak - vanilla, spice, bark - predominate. A simple Tempranillo for drinking with meat and cheeses and not-too-spicy tapas.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as

Deep ruby, aromas of vanilla, oak and earth. Medium to full bodied. On the palate...rich berry, vanilla, anise, and solid tannins, long finish.
