Greg Hughes rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The Pleno from Tempus Alba is 65% Malbec and the rest Cab Sauv aged mostly in French oak, with only a hint of American. It was macerated under cool conditions in tanks to retain aromatics. It then spent a conservative fifteen months in barrel. It was sourced from two different locales in the Mendoza area; Maipu and Lujan de Cuyo - both quality growing areas. This wine spent a decent amount of time in bottle as well - maturing, so that it would be released when it was ready.
Super dark, plum purple. Ruby hues with a tiny bit of sedimentation.
Aromas of blackberry jam, mint, cherry, blueberry tobacco, chocolate, dried herbs, violets, and mulch.
The acidity is great, the alcohol big, but not overbearing. Lots of black and red fruit. Minty, with a lot of blackberry and leaf. Chocolatey and with a long finish. Less herbal on the palate.
It is quite aged now, but could age a further five years.
Very good wine that deserves a proper decant for about half an hour. Paired with New Zealand lamb prepared very simply.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
