Tasted June 30th 2017 with good friends, colour dark ruby, thick legs. Aromas,black currant, black cherry, blackplum. Toast, cocoa, pipe tobacco. Taste, medium plus fruit in this dry complex wine, nice body, grippy tannin, light plus acidity and good alcohol balance. This was a pleasure to drink. Reminded me a a good Bordeaux from the left bank. This 76% Cabernet Sauvignon is supported by 17% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Melbec. We paired this with beef tenderloin grilled with herbs de province, shallots, and wine butter, baby bell mushrooms. Delicious.
