Tart and tight, with generous acidity this Pinot Noir is built to pair with classic old world roast pork, roast turkey, seasonal favourites. Ruby red and bright. Cranberry, cherry with savoury, minerality, great complexity, and well structured. Mouthwatering acidity. Tasted 2014 vintage in Dec 2017 (as indicated from bar code scanner - vintage is not marked on bottle labelling). 91 points.

This is lovely Burgundy Pinot that does not disappoint for the price. It is a great food wine that has notes of sour red cherries, cranberries with a little underbrush. It has nicely balanced acidity and mouthfeel, followed by cherry finish. It paired perfectly with smoked salmon and pizza!

Faiveley Mercurey 2014, Burgundy A.C., France: Classic Old World Pinot Noir! Juicy and expressive with an amazingly great price. Aromas of sour cherry, wild violets and plush layers of dark berry.
