The Diemersfontein Pinotage 2014 is a coffee and chocolate lovers dream. Very nice aromatic notes of coffee beans and dark chocolate. Definitely a must try! Tasted January 31, 2016 (91/100)

A very good example of a Pinotage.Coffee. Lots of coffee. Aromas of mocha, savoury herbs, vanilla, and dark cherry. The taste is more of the same, as well as a nice cherry tartness and acidity. A great pairing with pork ribs or pulled pork.

If you like the coffee aromas of a Pinotage, this one does not disappoint. Coffee mocha layers with blackberries on the nose and with similar notes on the palate. This makes for a rich, robust full-bodied wine that would go well with smoked, bbq ribs. Very interesting indeed.

Lots of coffee, mocha, and earth on the nose, along with a hint of charred wood. Some cherry mingles with the savory notes on the palate. Try with cured meats and cheese.

Delicious mocha, dark red fruit and savoury notes on the fragrant nose, followed by a "wow" palate showing the same tasty combo of mocha, dark fruit, bacon and vanilla. Robust and full-bodied. Terrific example of Pinotage; you just have to try this one!

Light Ruby with pink edges. Clean. Chocolate, coffee and toasted nuts along with plum and black cherry on the nose. Full bodied and medium tannins. Medium acidity and good balance. Smoky notes on the palate with hints of roasted dark fruit. Medium intensity wine with a medium finish. This wine was fermented on oak staves and aged a further 6 months on staves before bottling. This is a simple but pleasant wine.

Try this with pulled pork quesadillas.
