Elegant and sexy! Aromas of cured meat, black cherries and baking spices that carry through on the palate with a perfect balance of weight and acidity. Pairs beautifully with beet salad with goat cheese and pecans.

Layers of pomegranate, strawberries, black berry jam, baking spices, and delicate smoky flavours linger on the long, elegant finish. This refreshing wine has bold tannic structure, Burgundian grace, with a New World, fruit-driven exuberance.
Pair with Coq au vin, Beef Bourguignon, your traditional turkey feast, or savour on its own.
Drink now, or cellar until 2019.

Quail's Gate Pinot Noir continues to be one of my favourites. Always aromatic with voluptuous layers that I have to make myself slow down and savour...Gulp! Medium- body with good acidity .Black cherry, raspberry, black pepper, baking spices, nuttiness with subtle toasted oak. Tannins are polished even though we have s young wine here. Acidity is medium+. The length is long with a warm spicy finish. Terrific turkey wine. Drink now , potential to age 5-7 years. This is a "buy two" wine.

Quails' Gate Estate Winery Pinot Noir 2012, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia BC V.Q.A., Canada: Gorgeous depth and concentration of flavour in this iconic BC Pinot Noir, yet it's not heavy at all. Aromas of fleshy ripe black cherries, violets and some dark spice on the nose follow through on the palate. This is seductive Pinot that gives liquid definition to opulence.
