reviewed this wine as follows:
Deep damson plum red colour with an inviting bouquet of red berries, caramel and vanilla (6-month aging in new oak barrels). Rich in the mouth with flavours of red licorice, plum and a suggestion of balsamic. Ideal for charcuterie or young sheeps milk cheeses.

François Lurton Hermanos Tempranillo 2011, Toro D.O., Spain: This towering big Spanish red needs to be decanted at least an hour, but two is better. It completely transformed in the glass after this amount of time as it almost mute at the beginning. Gorgeous aromas of cedary black fruit support the high alcoholic content. Layered and satisfying. Great price. Drink: 2014-2019. 372342 15% XD 750 mL $16.15 Score: 88/100. October 11, 2014 Full Review
