Lynn Van Der Linde rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Sex in a glass! Aromas of leather, bacon, smoke, blueberries and raspberries follow through on the palate striking a balance between tannins and acidity, and holding on for a long raspberry finish. Yum! It's swear-out-loud good!

Natalie's Review

Ridge Lytton Springs Zinfandel 2011, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California, United States: This full-bodied red wine is a blend of two-thirds Zinfandel, then Petite Sirah, and a splash of Carignane grapes. It features rich, expressive aromas on the nose of black fruit and smoke. Towering and well-structured, give it time in the cellar. Decant for 2 hours. A black-fruit-infused finish. Lots of complexity and depth. Drink: 2015-2022. 982413 14.80% D 750 mL  $48.95 Score: 92/100. March 15, 2014 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
