Malcolm Lamont rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

The wine is medium garnet, with tears that are slow to develop, and even slower to inch down the glass.
The nose is rich with fig, christmas cake, baking spice, and caramel aromas.
On the palate, the wine is lusciously sweet to the point of syrupy deliciousness, with medium acidity, light tannins, medium alcohol (17%), full body, and pronounced flavour intensity. It shows characteristics of raisin pudding, clove, caramel, butterscotch, pecan pie, and brown sugar. Yummm!
Enjoy with or as desert, especially drizzled over vanilla ice cream with a good balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

It's Christmas in a bottle! Nutty, caramel, toffee, baking spices with raisins, dried dates & figs- all of those sweet, rich wonderful flavours that remind us of the holidays! (Excellent value for its price!)

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
