This Chardonnay kicked off our wine tasting journey with the wonderful Francesco Baettig. It is soft and slightly effervescent. Acidity was present with lovely notes of floral, ripe tropical fruit and citrus. Great every day white.
Heather Wall rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Ready to go! Started the tasting with this lovely Chardonnay from Errazuriz' Casablanca vineyards. Pale straw yellow with aromas of tropical fruit, tree fruit, citrus, and a little floral. The palate offered some minerality and fresh grass.Surprising me was the slight effervescence. A nice palate cleanser along with the fresh acidity. Good value everyday white.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

"Clean" is the word the winemaker used to describe this wine, it is a pale-medium yellow, fresh and light chardonnay with a pure expression of fruit.

The wine was grown in limestone soils which adds lovely minerality, and grapes are harvested early in the season to keep a refreshing acidity in a hot climate. A light touch of French oak adds a slight creaminess without masking any fruit.

This wine shows bright green apple, minerality and pear and a slightly tropical note. The palate has a light effervescence and flavours of McIntosh apple and grapefruit. Easy drinking and food-friendly. Great wine for seafood or pasta primavera
Jane Staples rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This lovely Chardonnay was aged in French oak for a more subtle oak expression and enhanced fruit and minerality on palate. Grown in limestone soil.
Malcolm Lamont rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 1st wine with the Errazuriz tasting!

Pale gold in colour, strong aromas of fresh tropical fruit, white citrus, and some butteriness. On the palate, very fresh with repeating flavours, some french oak coming through and a little effervescence.

With its refreshing characteristic, it would be well suited to acidic foods, and light to medium bodied seafood.
