An interesting blend of both grape variety and regions. The Riesling comes from Niagara and the L'Acadie Blanc from Eastern PEI. The wine has aromas of lime and green apple and the unmistakable scent of a salon after a perm. On the palate lots of green fruit, it has an oily texture but a dry finish that reminds you of the Pfalz region of Germany. Considering this winery is only into it's second vintage I am surprised by the depth of this wine. Co-operation between two regions is always a beautiful thing. Try it out with a smoked salmon appetizer to enhance the textre of both the fish and the wine.
