Natalie's Review

Château Puygueraud Meritage 2009, A.C., Côtes De Francs, Bordeaux, France: This robust wine is a blend of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and the balance Malbec grapes. Produced by the Thienpont family, this bruiser of a wine offers black fruit, tar, smoke and loads of toasty oak. Anise, dark spice and more tar on the finish. Decant 1-2 hours. Drink: 2013-2017. 189423 13% XD 750 mL  $22.85 Score: 89/100. August 3, 2013 Best Beef Wine  Full Review
