Matt Steeves, Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine has benefitted from having the grapes dried (raisin-ated) in a process called "appassimento", which means drying grape bunches after harvesting and prior to fermentation.

The colour is a bright golden yellow and the nose is full of candied lemon drops, pineapple, red apple. This creamy med-full bodied wine will pair beautifully with any rich creamy pasta, such as creamy risotto with pan seared scallops. Considering the price ($15.95), this is a wine to stock up on and enjoy this Summer and Fall with a wide variety of dishes or with a friend on your favourite patio. 91 points.
