Natalie's Review

Tyrrell's Wines Brookdale Semillon 2012, Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia: Lemon freshness in a glass with a lovely rich lanolin texture. The perfect wine that is stylistically between sauvignon blanc and chardonnay. The grapes for this wine come from a single vineyard, the Pokolbin Hills Estate vineyard. They use a cool fermentation and minimum time on the lees to create a very fresh style of wine. There is oak fermentation or aging to stay true to that signature. Lots of lemon and lime on the finish. Drink with fresh seafood or shellfish. Drink: 2012-2018. 269316 12% XD 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 90/100. May 11, 2013 Best Value White Wine.
