Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal
rated this wine as 91/100
with the following review:
Beautiful aromas of hung meat, eucalypt, baking spice and ripe plum lead to a lovely spectrum of blue and black fruits. Refreshing acids are present, balancing the alcohol. I was 91+ on this wine. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Schild Shiraz 2009, Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia: Big fleshy blackberries and black plums roll off the nose followed by savoury goodness and mouth-watering juiciness on the palate. Layers of pleasure with a long finish. Some dark spice and smoke on the finish. Oh double yum. Drink: 2013-2017. 66555 14.50% D 750 mL $28.95 Score: 93/100. February 16, 2013 Top Rated Red Wine.
