Andrew Bernardo Wine Journal
rated this wine as 91/100
with the following review:
A cut above a traditional Rhone white, from Chile no less. This wine is plush and creamy, with fresh cut melon, honey, flowers and exotic spice. Drink slightly warmer than you would most whites in order to get the full flavour profile of the wine. Makes the difference between 88 and 91 points. 91. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Luis Felipe Edwards Gran Reserva Roussanne 2010, Colchagua Valley, Chile: Apricots and honeysuckle dominate the nose of this highly aromatic white. Full-bodied and balanced. About 20% of the wine aged is aged on its lees for more creaminess and richness, then matured in French oak for 3 months. A lovely long finish. Pair with rich seafood dishes or paella. Highly recommended. Drink: 2013-2016. 309740 14% D 750 mL $16.95 Score: 90/100. January 5, 2013 Full Review
