Beronia Reserva Gonzalez Byass 2006, D.O.C.A., Rioja, Spain: Vintages Wine Panel: Deep, purple-tinged ruby in colour, this expressive wine abounds with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, black cherry, wood smoke, mocha and a hint of vanilla. These nuances replay nicely on the palate, where they’re balanced by fine, structured tannins. Medium-full bodied, the wine offers up a deliciously savoury, spice-infused finish. My note: Pleasant quaffer with dark fruit and some smoke. Full-bodied and smooth. Drink: 2010-2014. 50203 13.70% XD 750 mL $17.95 Score: 88/100. September 18, 2010 Full Review
