Flat Rock Cellars Unplugged Chardonnay 2009, V.Q.A., Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Vintages Wine Panel: Pretty, Chablis-like unoaked Chardonnay. Aromas suggest pear, mineral, green apple, lees (giving the wine a lovely texture) and citrus. Dry, racy and very fresh with the fruit and minerality coming in on the mid-palate to bring structure to the wine. This is a medium-long-finishing Chard. My note: Bravo! Way to make unoaked Chardonnay interesting and tasty! Pure fruit flavours of green apples and white peach. Love it! These guys are on a roll. Drink: 2010-2014. 68015 13% XD 750 mL $15.95 Score: 88/100. September 18, 2010 Full Review
