Deep purple color with a nice nose of blackberry, cherry, coffee, violet and spice.
On the palate the wine is smooth, balanced, elegant and long.
Try it with stewed pork chops.
Serve it at 15-17 degrees.
Pour it in carafe 30 minutes before the service.
Ready to drink but can be aged 4-5 years.
Black Hills Estate Winery Carmenere 2010, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia BC VQA, Canada: Luxurious, rich and full-bodied: a wine for hedonists! Liquid black velvet rolls across your mouth voluptuously in a tide of black fleshy berries. Long finish leaves you wanting more. Drink: 2012-2018. 0380063 12.50% D 750 mL $50.00 Score: 94/100.
