Heather Murray reviewed this wine as follows:

David Lawrason (91): This pours pale garnet. The nose is pretty and delicate with red currant jam, strawberry, floral notes and a touch of cab franc tobacco. Very good varietal character. It is sweet, of course, but not unctuos. There is good acidity, even a hint of acetone, that helps pucker the finish. The length is excellent, and it ends with typical cab franc tobacco, even a vague sense of tannin, then the strawberry fruit floods back. Should work beautifully with slightly savoury pates and cheeses. Tasted Sept 2012
Nadia Fournier (3/5): A notch below but still significant by flavors of red fruits and spices. Good overall balance.
Jason Solanki (91):Intense aromas of candied strawberry, cherry and floral aromas. Lush mouthfeel with ripe strawberry and cherry replays on the palate. Overall, it's very well-balanced by mouth-watering acidity. Lovely! Tasted Sept/2012.

Lush and sweet with loads of flavour - strawberry rhubarb jam with hints of herbs and spice. Really an explosion of flavours in your mouth. It would have benefited from a tad more acidity and tannin to balance out the sweetness.

Pinkus (4.5+): This is a really lush, plush wine that's creamy on the palate with all kinds of unctuous flavours. Sweet cherry soaked in honey then baked into a compote ... there's good acidity to balance off all that sweetness and a touch of blackberry on the finish makes it even more enjoyable.
