Loron & Fils Fontcraine Gamay 2007, A.C., Morgon, Beaujolais, France: Vintages Wine Panel: Aromas of beetroot and red field berries as well as meaty notes jump from the glass. Dry and medium bodied, the palate opens up to nice aroma replays joined by an intriguing earthy character. Clean and pure on the tasty, persistent finish. My note: Lovely depth and freshness with gorgeously ripe field berries and raspberries. Medium-bodied with a velvet smooth texture. Absolutely terrific! 158923 13% D 750 mL $17.95 Score: 88/100.
