Vera Czerny rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a solid and true example of Chianti Classico region. Nice ruby color with aromas of fresh cherries and cloves. A lot of fruit expression on the palate and good balance of acidity. The tannins will smooth out if it's laid down in cellar for a few more years. A bit overpriced to my taste. Sorry to say that I have tasted better Chianti Classicos, with lower price tag. The tartness in the wine makes it great for pairing with any Italian cuisine or tomato based dishes.
Dry,
Medium-full body,
Aged in oak
Dan Trcka reviewed this wine as follows:

This Chianti offers aromas of vanilla, pine and cherry and is aromatic, smooth and silky. It could use couple of years in the cellar to be at its peak, but it is quite good now. Tannins were noticeable and hence 1 hour in decanter is suggested. The body is light to medium and the finish was medium to long. Overall impression: BEAUTIFUL. Tasted Feb/10.
