rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

While I didn't think it possible, Thornhaven's recently released 2012 Gewurztraminer is even better than their 2011 version (which is excellent). It has the same spicy, floral nose, but on the palate it has more structure and balance. The mouthfeel is still full with honey, peach and roses -- a mouthful of roses, in fact, but through all the tropical notes, the wine remains fresh with a long, light citrus finish. I tried two dishes with this wine, a teriyaki-style chicken dish, but my favourite was a lightly five-spiced tenderloin of pork, covered with a peach/mango chutney, wrapped and baked in Phyllo dough. This was a perfect match!

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
