The Good Wine Betty's Blend The Good Earth 2011 Wine Review
Natalie's Score: 87/100Light- to medium-bodied with delicate aromas of white flowers and white peach. Nice aperitif or companion to light seafood dishes.
Food pairings: shellfish, lemongrass chicken, summer salad. Terrific Turkey Wine

A pleasant waft of spring after a long winter, this fresh blended white from the Beamsville Bench smells of white peach, grapefruit with a hint of green pepper/tomato vine that I can attribute to the Sauvignon Blanc in the mix. It's very smooth, well-balanced and dry and I enjoy the smack of key lime and wet stone at the finish. This is a great wine for sipping on its own as well as for pairing with the early spring salads I've been craving. Looking forward to tasting the newly-released 2012 vintage!
|Very nice aromas of white roses, lychee, sweet ginger, citrus peel and mineral. The palate is juicy and appealing with lovely replays and just a kiss of sweetness. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013|
