Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Stratus Vineyards has been crafting unique Bordeaux styled white blends with Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon for quite some time and this is their inaugural bottling of Semillon Icewine and what a fantastic effort.

Golden yellow, with impressive depth and integration of sweet tropical and exotic fruits, honey, and mouthwatering acidity. A delicious sweet finish with honey and pineapple flavours to savour for a minute and beyond. Imagine a Sauternes icewine...impressive is right!

Pair with your favourite creamy dessert, or full flavoured cheese. Creme brulee would make a perfect match.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
