Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Soft and gentle nose at first until some breathing teases out more of the subtler notes. Leads with sweet oak spice, namely clove and vanilla. Fruit is secondary to oak, with lemon and green apple in support. Plenty of oak on the palate as clove, vanilla, and nutmeg capture your attention. Surprisingly crisp acidity keeps it fresh while enhancing food pairing potential. Finish revisits oak and spice. A nice Chardonnay suited to grilled fish, roasted chicken, or grilled vegetables.
From Merryvale Vineyards in Carneros, California, Starmont 2015 Chardonnay 2015 is a dry, citrusy fresh, bright green apple and oak spice flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food. Pair with grilled porkchops. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
