A chardonnay that's vibrant and alive! Great acidity yet lovely richness and complexity with green apple, baking spice and tree fruit aromas. This is superb craftsmanship for one of California's flagship white wines. Lovely baked apple and vanilla smoke on a long finish. Highly recommended.
Chardonnay food pairings: butter-brushed lobster tail, goat cheese, cheese fondue, pork chops.
Scrumptious Seafood Wine

|Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:|
The quintessential California Chardonnay. Stags Leap Chardonnay is crisp and refreshing. That creamy feel of a great California Chardonnay with flavors of green apple and a nice vanilla finish. Very food friendly wine.
|With its rich and hedonistic aromas of buttered popcorn, pineapple, applesauce and coconut oil, this is not a shy Chardonnay by any stretch. The palate is beautifully structured, featuring a go-for-the-gusto feel with a great depth of fruit and oak. Big and sure, but smooth as velvet. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, May 2013|
