Vintages Wine Panel: Pinot Blanc is a fine alternative to Chardonnay, as it shares a similar fullness of flavour, but with an intriguingly different aroma and flavour profile. This one, from the Okanagan, is a case in point. Round, fresh and almost creamy. It features aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry, apple, pear and mineral. Dry with a lovely crisp acidity to refresh the palate. Makes a pretty sipper. It will even reward short-term cellaring (1-3 years). My note: Very pleasant with aromas of white peach and melon. Mild, subtle and no heavy oak. Great aperitif.

Pinot Blanc food pairings: cream-based pasta dishes.
