Reviews and Ratings

Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A flowery and earthy Riesling that displays vivid aromas of ripe peaches, apples, and melon and a bit of a spicy edge to it. Most notably, it is the flinty minerality and lemony acidity that distinguishes this wine the most. Score 92. (Reviewed Nov. 2016)
Domaines Schlumberger Kessler 2012 is a classic bone-dry Alsatian Riesling that demands food like smoked pork ribs and sauerkraut. Drink now or the wine has enough fruit, acidity and structure to hold or cellar until 2025. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
