From one of the most recognized producers in France, Joseph Drouhin, this dry, rich Chardonnay has ripe melon, crunchy apple, toasty nut and vanilla flavours on the palate finishing with a clean minerality. Vibrant acidity for food. A medium-bodied Chard that has spent some time in barrel, but first aged in stainless steel for eight months.

Chardonnay food pairings: seared scallops, sashimi and sushi, bouillabaisse.

Reviews and Ratings

Joseph Drouhin 2016 Chardonnay is a full-bodied, Old-World style Burgundian Chardonnay with toasted almond, ripe apple, pear and honeyed tropical fruit flavours. Fresh and zesty with a lingering vanilla spice and crisp mineral finish. Brought up in stainless-steel tank with neutral oak ageing for added roundness and finesse. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
