From Jean-Max Roger, Marnes Et Caillottes 2019 Sancerre is so enticing with fine herbs and floral aromas on the nose. This Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire is dry, mouth-watering and elegant with silky bright apple, citrus, pineapple and flinty, briny mineral flavours on the palate. Food versatile and always so good, chill and enjoy with anything from quiche and brunch dishes to oysters on the half shell and chicken from the grill.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Loire wine region, Jean-Max Roger Cuvée Marnes et Caillottes 2019 Sancerre is a dry, medium-bodied, elegant and mouth-watering white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes sourced from vines grown in Kimmeridgian marls and the limestone caillottes soils. Fresh with citrus zest, white florals, fine herb flavours smooth, chalky textured (in a good way) and finishing long on the palate. Chill and enjoy with fresh or steamed shellfish dishes. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews
