“Lieu-Dit,” French for “place name,” indicates that the grapes were sourced from a single vineyard (in this case, Letzenberg) that is considered to be of superior quality. The nose here is very inviting with characteristic and delightful lychee, ginger and rose-petal aromas. The palate is well structured and fresh with ripe and focused fruit riding on a lovely spicy cinnamon note. More lychee and rose-petal suggestions too, with a seam of acidity carrying through to the end of the long finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
