J. Lohr Riverstone 2020 Chardonnay is produced from sustainably grown grapes from the Arroyo Seco, Monterey County wine region. The 1500 ml size is perfect for holiday entertaining and, personally, you can never have enough beautiful Chardonnay, particularly at this price ;). The Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing logo on this wine's back label attests that at least 85% of the grapes were grown in a certified-sustainable vineyard and produced in a certified sustainable winery. Dry, medium-plus-bodied, with the addition of the Mt. Eden Chardonnay clone to the blend, a total of 10 clones were used in the making of this Chardonnay with ripe apple, pear, honeysuckle, soft citrus zest, apple pie baking spices and flinty mineral flavours on the palate. This gorgeous California Chard has it all. Drink through 2026.
