A very subtle wine with delicate aromas of white melon. Not heavy or fruity. Clean and crisp. Nice aperitif.

Pinot Blanc food pairings: organic greens tossed with sun-dried cranberries, fresh herb dressing and asiago.

The grapes used in the Gray Monk 2008 Pinot Blanc were harvested between 20 and 21 Brix from vineyards in both northern and southern Okanagan Valley. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks using a yeast that enhances flavour development.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
