So beautiful! This riesling has it all: juicy, peach and lime aromas, balance, complexity, length and lambs. (That was a baaaaah-d joke, I know.) Medium-bodied and packed with flavour. These folks are Riesling Masters: Ka-pow!

Reviews and Ratings

Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Nov 21, 2013: Blind tasting NCSG Vintages pre-release. Pale straw, prominent apple, citrus lemon, hint of petrol/flint. The palate shows ripe apple, a perceived sweetness behind the racy acidity with a light body and long lemon citrus finish.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Prominent honey, bees wax, yellow apple, minerality, and a slight petrol note on the nose. Mouthwatering acidity, long yellow apple finish.
Winemaker David Johnson hand harvested the grapes for this wine three weeks earlier than usual to maintain their zesty acidity and the wine's fresh character despite the warm vintage. Source: Winery

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
