Grassy and herbal with refreshing acidity and mouth-watering action. Very classic sauvignon blanc at an incredibly great price. Medium-bodied and versatile with a range of dishes.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: shellfish, white sauce pasta, cheese, salads.

More Wine Reviews and Ratings

Melissa Pulvermacher WSET rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Pleasant and refreshing. White grapefruit and grassy characteristics on the nose, with added citrus, lemon zest and lemon brine on the palate. High acid, fairly light with a short finish. This is a perfect aperitif wine to have before dinner. (Nov 2014)
A pale greenish-yellow colour. This is a very lush
wine, intensely aromatic with abundant tropical
fruit such as guava and passion fruit, perfectly
balanced with the mineral notes and herbal tones
so typical of top-end Sauvignon Blanc. The
palate offers volume and silkiness at the same
time, with a light creaminess that enhances the
herbal notes and a beautiful minerality.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
