Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

When a wine begins with an attractive nose, it is always a good way to prepare you for a good exploration of your palate - and this Chablis is no different: Its attractive nose follows with a great development of flavours and texture. Domaine Passy boasts a medium to full bodied mouth feel with green and red apple fruitiness, and a lemon zest and lime acidity on the finish. This wine is fresh and enjoyable - be sure to drink within the next two years. Great with light seafood dishes as well as pink fish, such as arctic char and trout.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Spot on Chablis, racy acidity, fresh and crisp with lemon and slate aromas, as well as some minerality and floral accents. Intense on the palate with more lemon, citrus, and wet stone. Lengthy finish with all of the typical characteristics. Ideal food wine for nearly any seafood dish, plenty of poultry options, and perfect for Epoisses.
From Vins Descombe, Domaine Passy Le Clou 2017 Chablis is a fresh, crisp and bright Chardonnay, approachable with softer green apple, lemon and lime zest flavours on the palate with the customary and lingering flinty mineral finish for which Chablis is known. Pair with grilled and steamed shellfish dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
