Green apple freshness and a little creaminess here on this classic Burgundian Chardonnay. No oak aging, which is the tradition in Chablis. Good mineral finish. Pair with shellfish.

Chablis food pairings: seafood, shellfish, turkey pot pie, grilled chicken, pork.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I am partial to mineral-rich characteristics in Chablis (unoaked Chardonnays) and the Domaine Le Verger hits the mark! Loving the green apple, lemon, saline and mineral notes. And what a bargain! Enjoy this classic style Chablis with steamed king crab legs, scallops, and oysters. Tasted April 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Love this Chablis from the Burgundy wine region. Domaine Le Verger (2015) is fresh, floral with crunchy apple and finishes with mouthwatering citrus flavours. Great price for a Chablis as well. Alain Geoffroy, proprietor and viticulturalist has produced this zesty French Chardonnay, unoaked from the northern region of Burgundy. - Community Wine Reviews
