A pleasant Old World-style Chardonnay with enticing notes of green apples, peaches and oak. Medium-bodied. The Pouilly-Fuissé appellation is regarded as the most coveted and best quality in the Mâconnais region of Burgundy. The Chardonnays are more fruit-driven than oak-driven. The natural rock formation that surrounds the vineyards traps the sunlight and warmth to help ripen the grapes. Highly recommended. Chardonnay food pairings: roasted chicken, grilled fish, basil pesto, prawn bisque, cheese fondue. Terrific Turkey Wine
