Natalie's Score: 89/100

Produced from 100% Loureiro grapes from the Vinho Verde wine region, with aromas of lime, white florals and ripe peach on the nose. Slightly spritzy and vibrant with white florals, ripe melon and lime-lemon zest flavours that linger on the palate. Chill and enjoy on its own or pair with grilled sardines. MINE: From the Vinho Verde wine region, Curvos 2019 Loureiro is a zesty, refreshing northern Portuguese white wine. Incredible value under $13. Crisp and clean with a delicate white floral noes, dry with fresh herb and vibrant lime zest flavours on the palate. "Loureiro" is Portuguese for laurel. Chill and enjoy on its own or pair with grilled shrimp. OTHER: Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Light and refreshing. Aromas of green herbs, white peach and lime. Light and dry on the palate, with zesty citrus, and a hint of fizzy effervescence. Enjoy with fresh shellfish. OTHER: "Loureiro" is Portuguese for "laurel" and is a nod to the grape's evergreen and floral aromas. An ensemble player in Vinho Verde, it's seldom seen as a single varietal. This crisp, lively wine has deftly expressed white flower notes, plus snappy citrus that makes it ideal for appetizers of all sorts and a gem for a chilled plate of oysters (Vintages Panel, updated).
