rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2011 Cuatro Rayas Viñedos Centenarios Verdejo has appealing green apple and flowery aromas. It is medium bodied, fruity, dry, has good acidity and a clean finish. It is food friendly, yet it can be sipped by itself; drink now and for the next few years, to 2015. My impression: NICE, 89 pts. Tasted Jan/13.

The most famous white wines of Castilla y León are crafted from the traditional Verdejo grape in the Rueda region. We love the fruitiness of this Verdejo, as it stops short of being aromatically over the top. The old vines (a few centuries old) from Segovia from which it is made give the wine volume and smoothness on the palate. An elegant and very balanced white.
