Natalie's Score: 90/100

A well-structured and balanced red with classic notes of cassis and black currant. This full-bodied red wine comes from the Right Bank of Bordeaux, which traditionally leads with Merlot in the blend and this wine is no exception: 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. There's a long, satisfying smoky finish. Enjoy it tonight with steak or cellar it for another 3-4 years. Food pairings: roast beef, beef stew with root vegetables. Best Beef Wine

Gold Medal winner at the Challenge International Du Vin 2011. The 2009 Bordeaux vintage strikes again with another winner. This one serves up intense aromas of berry fruit, cedar, herbs and grilled bell pepper. Impeccably balanced and poised, it will provide enjoyment over the next decade.
