Vintages Wine Panel: Muscadet is one of the most refreshing white wines around. This 2008 shows subtle aromas of salty mineral, grapefruit, peach, floral and leesy notes. On the palate, it’s dry and crisp with a medium body, and its soft citrus fruit flavours lead to a medium-long, zesty, minerally finish. My note: An exuberant wine with fresh, clean notes of lime, lemongrass and herbal refreshment. Perfect as an aperitif or food companion. Muscadet food pairings: light fish, seafood dishes, sashimi.
